Our Story

Established in 1980, Tony and Annette Groombridge founded Groombridge Electrical with a mission to provide quality electrical services to their community - all while raising their seven children.

Over those years, Groombridge Electrical gained a strong reputation for their reliability and expertise, and the business grew to become a household name within the industry for Feilding and the wider Manawatu region.

Fast forward to 2021, Tony and Annette decided it was time for them to put their tools down and retire from Groombridge Electrical - passing on the torch, team of five electricians and the new workshop on Weld Street to their sons, Luke and Carne.

 

It was now up to the two brothers to carry on the Groombridge Electrical name. Having grown up alongside their fathers electrical expertise for their whole lives however, Luke and Carne have an instinctive knowledge for the electrical trade industry, and in only a few years, the business has grown quickly.

Today, working alongside a team of ten, Groombridge Electrical continues to be a leading electrical service provider in the Manawatu, offering a wide range of electrical services to both residential and commercial customers. Luke and Carne are quickly changing the electrical game with their extensive experience, innovation and a modern approach to electrical work; while still providing a reliable and well known service to clients old and new.

 

Luke and Carne are both very passionate about continuing their family legacy, and are proud to carry on the reliability and household name that is Groombridge Electrical.
